How Orty works, in the open.

Most companies keep this internal. Here's ours — why it exists, how it makes money, and what it does with your data.

Why Orty exists

I edited video for about two and a half years and freelanced as an editor for around one of them. I kept burning my best hours researching creators who were never going to hire me.

Orty is the tool I wished I had: something that answers one question before I write a pitch — is this client actually worth my time?

What Orty is — and isn't

Orty is a judgment layer, not a data layer. It doesn't scrape profiles, sell lead lists, or hunt for email addresses.

You bring the prospect. Orty reads what you give it, weighs the commercial signals, and tells you whether they're worth contacting — with the evidence, and an explicit why not.

How Orty handles your data

Your leads, notes, and CRM stay tied to your Whop account and export as a single file — no lock-in.

Bring your own AI key: it's used per request and never stored on our servers. The complete list of what leaves your browser is on the privacy page.

How Orty uses AI

Every report is produced by the model you point Orty at, using only the profile or screenshot you provide.

Orty never invents a price, a budget, or an achievement. When the input can't support a claim, it says Unknown instead of guessing.

How Orty gets built

Solo, in public, one person with no team. Every release, milestone, lesson, and mistake is written down as it happens.
