We don't have your data because we can't see it.
Last updated: July 5, 2026
This policy is short on purpose. Orty is a privacy-first company, and the simplest way to honor that is to never collect your data in the first place.
The short version
Orty does not collect, store, or transmit any data about you or your use of Orty. The app runs entirely on your machine. The only outbound network calls are to Groq and Google Gemini, and only when you trigger them. Checkout is powered by Orty, and we never see or store your full card details.
1. We don't collect your data
Orty does not operate any server that receives information from the Orty app. There is no telemetry, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no phone-home. The app has no account system, so there is no profile of you stored anywhere by us.
This website (the marketing site) also has no analytics. No Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Vercel Analytics — nothing. The brand is "no telemetry," and the marketing site walks the same talk as the app.
2. The app runs entirely on your machine
Orty is a local-first desktop application. Your leads, emails, chat sessions, CRM entries, portfolio text, downloaded audio, and error logs are stored in files inside your own user profile folder on your own computer. They are never transmitted to Orty or anyone else.
The CRM is a plain CSV file. You can open it in Excel, back it up to a thumb drive, or delete it. If you delete the files, the data is gone — there is no cloud copy.
3. The only outbound connections are Groq and Gemini
Orty makes exactly two kinds of outbound network call, and both happen only when you press a button to trigger them:
- Groq (Llama 3.3 70B) — used by the Co-Pilot feature when you ask it to draft a cold email.
- Google Gemini 2.5 Flash — used by Rate, Batch, and Long Form when you ask for a creator rating or a video audit.
These calls go directly from your machine to Groq's and Google's APIs, authenticated with your own API keys. The content of those requests (the creator screenshot, your prompt, your portfolio text) is sent to the provider you chose, under their terms and their privacy policy — not Orty's. Orty is not in the path.
No call is ever made automatically or in the background. If you never press Rate, Co-Pilot, or Long Form, the app never reaches the network at all.
4. Payment is powered by Orty
Checkout is powered by Orty. For the manual payment methods (PayPal, crypto), you send payment directly and email your transaction reference — Orty never sees your card or wallet credentials. We receive only the information needed to deliver your download: your purchase email and an order confirmation.
That purchase email is used solely to send you your download link. It is not used for marketing, not sold, not shared.
5. Your leads and emails never leave your machine
Your leads, email drafts, chat sessions, CRM entries, and any downloaded audio are stored locally in your user profile folder and are never transmitted to Orty. The only time any of this content leaves your machine is when you explicitly send it to Groq or Gemini as part of a rate, chat, or audit action — and even then it goes directly to that provider, not to Orty.
You are responsible for your own backups. Because we do not have your data, we cannot restore it for you if you lose it. Copy your CRM CSV somewhere safe.
6. Children's privacy
Orty is a professional tool intended for adults doing business outreach. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect any data from children. Because we don't collect data from anyone, this applies by default.
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes in a way that reduces your privacy, we will say so loudly — not bury it in a quiet update. Material changes will be announced by email to buyers and reflected in the "last updated" date above. The privacy posture itself (local-first, no telemetry, no phone-home) is structural and will not change.
