Orty Scout — find clients worth your time.
Every outreach tool starts with a lead you're supposed to already have. Scout starts one step earlier: you tell it what you sell and who you want to reach, and it hands you a plan for finding them.
It's deliberately not a lead database. Scout produces a Search Strategy — the best places to look, platform-specific hunting recipes, copy-paste queries, filters, and the signals that make a prospect worth contacting. Names only enter Orty when you capture one yourself.
The question Scout answers
“I need clients. Where do I find them, how do I know which ones are worth pursuing, and what should I look for?” That question comes before rating, before emailing, before the CRM. Scout is built around it.
- Define the target fast — pick what you sell, type who you want to reach, and optionally add niche, size, location, or platform. No long form.
- Get a strategy, not a wall of advice — the best platforms for your specific service and ideal client, each with why to search there, what prospects to look for, what signals matter, and what to type.
- Copy, search, done — every query has one-click Copy and Search, so a strategy becomes an action in seconds.
- Know what to watch for — opportunity signals (“why this lead?”) and negative signals so you eliminate bad fits instead of collecting them.
Platform-specific hunting recipes
Scout doesn't hand everyone the same generic platform list. It ranks surfaces for your target and writes a recipe for each one: search phrases, filters (audience size, activity, company size), the kinds of prospects to target, the signals of a good opportunity, the service you could sell, and an outreach angle.
Recipes cover YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Google (with real search operators), Reddit, X, and communities, directories, and job boards — selected for where your ideal clients actually gather.
Capture first, qualify fast
Found someone? Paste a URL, a profile, or a copied search result and Scout gives a fast preliminary 0–100 Opportunity Score — Fit, Need Signal, Budget Potential, Activity, and Outreach Opportunity — with a plain-English why and what's still unknown.
That score is a triage layer, not a replacement for Orty's full Client Opportunity Report. One click sends the prospect into the full analysis; another adds them to your CRM.
Why Scout never fabricates leads
Lead databases invite a specific failure: hundreds of names you never asked for, scraped together and often wrong. Scout takes the opposite position — it tells you where to look and what to look for, and leaves the finding to you until a real data source can be plugged in responsibly.
Everything Scout produces is labelled Search Strategy. It does not invent companies, creators, handles, emails, URLs, follower counts, funding, or job posts. When a real external source is used, the source is shown and facts are separated from inference.
