Cookies policy

The unusual one: we tracked what this site tracks, and it tracks almost nothing. Here is the exact list.

1. What Orty actually stores on your device

The short version: the public getorty.vercel.app website sets zero first-party cookies. We verified this directly (no Set-Cookie headers on any marketing page). Here is everything that does touch your device or browser:

  • Essential — app session cookie. When you sign in and use the Orty app (app.getorty via the “Open app” flow), the app sets one HttpOnly, Secure session cookie so you stay logged in. It contains no third-party tracking and is deleted when you log out or the session expires (7 days).
  • Anonymous, cookieless analytics. Public pages use Plausible and Vercel Web Analytics. Both are cookieless: they count page views without storing cookies or personal identifiers on your device, and cannot be used to follow you across sites.
  • Marketing — Whop pixel (only with your consent).If you accept marketing in the consent banner, Whop's pixel (t.whop.tw) loads to measure subscription attribution. This is the only script on the site that may set cookies. Decline it and it never loads.
  • Local storage — your choices. The consent banner stores your preference in localStorage(not a cookie) so we don't ask you every visit. Clearing site data resets it.

2. Your choices

The consent banner (bottom-left of every page) offers “Essential only”, “Manage preferences”, and “Accept all”. “Manage preferences” lets you toggle the marketing pixel independently — anonymous cookieless analytics stay on because they store nothing on your device.

Changed your mind? Clear this site's data in your browser settings (or use “Manage preferences” again) and the banner returns.

3. Third parties that may set cookies

  • Whop — login (SSO redirect) and, with marketing consent, the Whop pixel. Whop is also our payment processor; its own cookie practices apply on whop.com pages.
  • Plausible Analytics — cookieless measurement of public-page traffic.
  • Vercel — hosting + cookieless web analytics.

4. Website vs app

This policy covers the public marketing site. Once you sign in, the Orty app stores your data (leads, chats, profile) server-side in Supabase, scoped to your Whop account — that is described in the Privacy Policy, not by cookies. Your AI API keys are never stored server-side.
