API keys are deliberately never included in the export, so backups can live anywhere without becoming a security liability.
What's inside the zip
- The whole CRM — all leads, stages, scores, reasoning, budgets, notes, and follow-up history.
- Settings & profiles — portfolios, rate cards, wins, goals — everything that makes a new install feel like home.
- Logs & cache — diagnostics history and Self-Healing logs, useful when emailing support about an issue.
- Not included: keys — Groq/Gemini/provider keys never leave the machine in an export. Re-add them after importing elsewhere.
Migration in two clicks
Install Orty on a new Windows machine, choose Import Workspace, point at the zip, re-enter your keys — done. Your pipeline picks up exactly where it left off, including every historical score that makes your Insights meaningful.
The deeper point
Subscription CRMs hold your client history hostage: cancel and the relationship record vanishes behind a paywall. Orty inverts that — the database was always yours, in your user folder, in a format you can carry away. Lock-in requires a server; there isn't one.
